Walker Hayes Donates $10K To HOPE International

In honor of Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3), Walker Hayes played to a packed house at Nashville’s Listening Room Cafe, with 100% of the proceeds going to HOPE International, via Walker’s Be A Craig Fund. In addition to proceeds from the show, the Be A Craig Fund donated a total of $10,000 to HOPE International – an organization that invests in the dreams of families in the world’s underserved communities through services, and loans that restore dignity and break the cycle of poverty.

SMACK owner Shane McAnally, alongside co-writers Ashley Gorley and Ross Copperman, celebrated their No. 1 song, “Love Ain’t,” by Eli Young Band. The celebration was held on July 15th at The Sutler.

Walker Hayes Releases New Single, "Don't Let Her"

Co-written with SMACK’s Shane McAnally and emerging songwriter/producer Andrew DeRoberts, “Don’t Let Her” is a bittersweet love story “with a lump-in-your throat twist – it’s about helping the next man who comes along to love her right, if something should ever happen to Hayes” (Sounds Like Nashville). “Don’t Let Her” is available everywhere now.

SMACK Earns Four MusicRow Awards Nominations

SMACK is excited to have earned four MusicRow Awards nominations this year. Shane McAnally received a nomination for Male Songwriter of the Year as well as Song of the Year for “Rainbow,” recorded by Kacey Musgraves. Josh Osborne was also nominated for Male Songwriter of the Year, and Aaron Eshuis for the coveted Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year award. The 31st Annual MusicRow Awards will be held on Wednesday, June 26th at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium.
