SMACK Management Internship - Summer 2026

Overview

SMACK’s Management internship is aimed at educating students in both the ins and outs of Artist Management. On top of general daily tasks, our intern will assist the management team with tasks such as data analytics, merchandise ideation and tracking, market research, fan engagement, digital marketing and more.  Interns will also participate in an overarching semester-long project that gives an in-depth look at the ins and outs of artist management, music publishing, and other areas of the industry. Our team will work with the intern to provide meaningful and educational work that contributes to their knowledge of management in the music business. Our hope is for the intern to gain invaluable experience that helps guide them in future career choices. 

Requirements:


- Currently enrolled student able to receive college credit for internship
- Minimum 3 days per week, 5 hours per day
- Vehicle to pick up/drop off tickets, merchandise, groceries, etc. for company errands
- Access to computer & internet. This internship will be in-office.


SMACK Publishing Internship – Summer 2026

Overview

SMACK’s Publishing internship is aimed at educating students in all aspects of publishing, both administrative and creative. On top of general daily tasks, our designated publishing intern will assist the team with tasks such as catalog management, typing and/or reformatting lyrics, writer-oriented tasks, and more. They will also learn more about the creative side of publishing and will participate in an overarching project that gives an in-depth look at its ins and outs. Our team will work with the intern to provide meaningful and educational work that contributes to their knowledge of publishing and the music business. Our hope is for the intern to gain invaluable experience that helps guide them in future career choices.
